Colorado Vacation Pictures

I wanted to share some more of our Colorado vacation pictures with you. This is the most beautiful place I’ve ever been yet.

The Rocky Mountains in July is a great time to see lots of wildlife, and perfect weather for hiking and site seeing. In July there is still a great deal of snow left on the mountains which makes it ever more beautiful.

Our hike today was a long one but a very good one. By the time we hiked down to the continental divide, which was mostly downhill, then started back up to the top of the mountain, which was literally all uphill, we was welcomed back by a great deal of cow elks and their calves, as well as a few nice Bulls.

The great thing about hiking in the Rocky Mountain national forest is, there is no hunting and these elk are very use to people, which allows a person to get close enough to get good pictures…safely. 🙂

If your looking for a great vacation spot in the summer months, and would possibly consider doing some hiking, then do yourself a favor and check out the Rocky Mountains…in Estes Park.
