This post shares by recent Mastercraft X46 transport to Montana. This boat came from Texas and I took it straight to northern Montana.
Ft Worth Texas was right at 80 degrees at 10pm when I picked it up, then the next morning I woke up to 38 degrees just 3 hours north west of there. I went another half day right up into Colorado and it was low 20’s that evening. From there on up into Wyoming then to Montana it was also m low 20’s and snowing.
The weather changes so much this time of year from state to state, and up in the mountains especially. I seen a great deal of wrecks on this trip, which made me wonder, how in the world did they manage to do what they did, then I realize, oh yeah, they was probably going way to fast for the road conditions, not to mention they was more than likely on their phone either texting or talking to someone and not paying attention to their real job, which always being. A responsible driver.
Almost every vehicle that passes me, the drivers are texting. And to top that off they are driving way over their heads, by driving out of control, like 20mph over the speed limits. It’s so irritating because people have no integrity anymore. No respect for the law, speed limits or other drivers. If your not passing fast enough to suit them, they are honking at you, riding your bumper and being totally stupid with their hand gestures…you know the ones I’m talking about.
Why is everyone in such a hurry nowadays? Why are people so disrespectful to others and the law enforcement? Who knows!! Maybe they are having a bad day? Maybe they have something going on in their lives that we don’t know about?
I always try and give people the benefit of the doubt, but some people are just so disrespectful that it makes it nearly impossible to give them the benefit of the doubt. Many of these disrespectful people are semi drivers. They literally are so close to your back bumper you cannot even see their front bumper. Not sure what the purpose of this is, or what they think they are gaining from this idiotic behavior, but it just shows the kind of person they really are. Just bite your tongue and give way to them.
This last trip was such beautiful scenery, it makes all of the other nonsense drivers seem like nothing. This last trip was 1789 miles, one way. It’s long trips, but more miles equals more money. Of course more miles also means more expensive fuel also.
Check out the pictures below of this Mastercraft X46 transport to Montana. What a beautiful boat this one was…
Despite what is going on around us, we must run our own race, and be the best possible examples as possible. So in other words, no texting while driving, and obeying the speed limits and laws. If you must be on the phone, then use the handsfree that most all vehicles have nowadays. Why people think they have to have that phone shoved up to their ear is beyond me, and why they think they have to be driving 10 to 15 to 20mph over the speed limit is totally unacceptable, and uncalled for.
We all have jobs to do, which one of those jobs is; be a great example setter everywhere we go, in everything we do, each and every day. Give respect and you will get respect!!
Always do your best,
-Mike Pilcher
