After all the testing myself and many others have done, Shocker Hitch is the best hitch on the market today. Of course, many will argue this point, but unless you’ve tested many other hitches like we have, then all you have is an opinion, and nothing to back it up.

Other hitches I’ve tested won’t stand up and last, some rated at 15,000# plus, have bent and broke under heavy loads on the terrible rough roads we have. I will not mention these other hitches, but they are ranked highly and of course cheaper than the Shocker, but like most everything else, you get what you pay for!!

I’m picturing below the Shocker Hitches I use and absolutely love. This one is called the Shocker Black Max HD Air Hitch. It is rated at 20,000# pull, and 2000# tongue weight.

The red Shocker bumper hitch was my first, and then I upgraded to the black max which has a higher rating than the red one. The black max is rated at 20,000# pull and 2000# tongue weight. My gooseneck Shocker hitch is red also, but it is a 30,000# hitch rating.

Above you see the picture of “Silver Spacer” above the airbag plate? This is for the Ram 3500 truck like mine. Some trucks like Chevy/GMC, have built in spacers on their receiver hitch, so you don’t need to add this spacer. However, for these Ram 2500’s and the Ram 3500, like pictured above, you will need the spacer block that bolts right to your Shocker Airbag Hitch. This will be included with your new Shocker Hitch when you order. Just make sure you indicate the exact make, model and year of the truck/vehicle you are ordering for!

If you are looking to upgrade to a better hitch…that will NOT fail you, and you are not sure what to get? Trust me, and get the Shocker Hitch. These are good looking, strong, tough, and so dang dependable!! Don’t look at the price, just get one and be done with your hitch hunt. Now, if you are just pulling a tiny utility trailer once and awhile, then these hitches aren’t for you. Instead just go to Walmart and get a cheap one. But, if you are towing campers, machinery trailers, or large utility, or cargo trailers, then the Shocker is the right choice
