I wanted to share the TimberKing 1620 Bandmill in Currie NC. This mill I helped my friend Gary set up and mill a log. This 1620 has the 33hp gas engine, which has a good deal of power to power right through the big logs.
This 33hp gas engine is carbureted, and believe it or not, the torque is very good. The newest gas engines, like the 37efi, are coming with electronic fuel injection (efi).
The efi engines not only provide much more dependability, but a great deal more efficient power and torque than the carburetor styles do.

This 1620 shown in this post is a great mill, and its lower price makes it a real affordable mill. It comes standard with hydraulic log loaders, hydraulic head, forward and backwards, and hydraulic head up and down. It also has a bi-directional hydraulic log turner.
This mill is portable, and it tips the curb scale at 4360#. Comes with 6000# axle and 10ply tires and 6 hole wheels.
