Today was more cutting, grinding and welding for the TimberKing 1400 blade wiper upgrade. This upgrade allows the addition of the automated blade lube system with ease.

Before this 1400 upgrade, a person would have to unbolt the factory mounted tube assembly of the gravity fed lube bracket and mode to opposite site, then twist and bend bracket to try and get best angle, but no more of that time consuming stuff.
This simple bracket bolts right on top of the wiped blocks I build and also can be used on all other TimberKing portable sawmills.

These LubeKing systems are time consuming and due to all the parts involved, these are expensive to build. But, it’s so worth it to add these to the TimberKing sawmills and turn them into a much better and more efficient sawmill. This is something that some sawmill companies, like WoodMizer, do right from the factory. And honestly, it’s just one of the reasons they stand head and toes above all other sawmill companies! For example, the WoodMizer LT70 super hydraulic, wide is a beast of a portable sawmill. This is a high production sawmill that not only cuts faster than any other mill on the market, but it also cuts flatter lumber than all other mills as well. This LT70 comes standard with wiper blocks and an automated blade lube system. It has blade guide blocks on each side of the guide rollers that keep the blade more stable and keeps the blade from rising and dipping as much.

So yes, when building more automated LubeKing systems, it takes a great deal of time and hundreds of dollars to build these complete systems, but these added to any TimberKing sawmill will take that sawmill to a whole new level.
Always do your best,
