Pictured below you will see this automated blade wiper and water system I’ve built. This is an advanced water system that has really improved my TimberKing 2220 sawmill, and has cut down on the amount of water and windshield fluid I go through.

Above you can see how I’ve hooked everything up, and it’s all bolted securely to an aluminum panel. This panel bolts right to your sawmill post with 2 bolts, the same bolts that are already on your mill. Simply take them loose, add this panel and you’re good to go.
Recently I’ve had several sawmill owners (people I’ve delivered mills too), that have asked me about this water system and how to build it. Some have asked if I’d build one for their mill. So, I have decided to build a few, and sell some.
Pictured below is the bolt on cover I built to protect the solenoid and brass valve from debris and weather. Notice, I didn’t completely enclose the water valve and solenoid, due to leaving air movement, for longer life of these parts.

This is a simple, dependable and easy to install. With the ones I’m selling, I include everything you need, and have a step by step guide for you to follow, as well as a video with me showing you how to bolt this on and hook it up.
The way it works is simple. When you turn your sawmill blade on, the water automatically comes on, and when you turn the blade off, the water shuts off. There is a brass water dripper valve (with sight window), that allows you to adjust your water drips to as much as you like.
As a bonus, I will throw in a blade wiper free of charge. Pictured below is this blade wiper. I use the orange Scotch Brite, which really keeps the blade clean.

I might add, none of this is needed or necessary for your mill to operate. But one thing is for sure, this system makes my sawmill so much more efficient and less steps back and forth to turn water on and off. Cutting as much as we do, with our TimberKing 2220 sawmill, the steps add up turning water off, then going back to turn it on. Or just leave the water on and waste your water, windshield washer fluid, or whatever you use.

P.S. I use aluminum because it won’t rust, and right now, I can buy it cheaper than steel. I can build these panels for everything to bolt to, either from aluminum or steel. If you want all steel, then I will have to prime and paint to prevent rusting, before I bolt everything together, box and ship it to you.
This system as shown above, $255.00 parts and materials, and $250.00 labor. Total for this complete system is: $505.00 shipped to your door.
