Pin Oaks Farm is installing Central Boilers – St Joe MO and other areas as well. We have an Outdoor Central Boiler that we purchased over 3 years ago and installed it ourselves. See the pictures below of our outdoor Central Boiler, and how we ran all of our system inside as well. We installed all of our floor pex pipe before we poured the concrete floor, and this is how ours works. It heats the floors, and if for some reason the fire goes out, or if we run out of wood or just don’t want to use it, then the furnace automatically comes on in place of the boiler.
Most of these outdoor boilers are close to the same, so it doesn’t necessarily have to be Central Boiler, for us to install it for you. Our outdoor boiler has saved us so much money on heating our home, and all of the mess is outside. We burn scraps from our sawmill and other trees that have fell down on our property, from storms, or have just died and we’ve taken them down.
How Efficient Is An Outdoor Wood Boiler?
The question that often comes up is; how efficient is an outdoor wood boiler. It depends on the outdoor boiler you have, and how efficient your home is. When we built our home, we took the time to plan it out and make sure we built it once and built it right. Our home is very efficient and so is our outdoor Central Boiler. Ours will go 24 hours on a fill of wood. If it gets down around 10* or below then we usually have to fill it twice a day, mornings and evening before we go inside for the night, and never have to worry about it until the next day.
These pictures above here are of our mechanical room located inside our garage. This is a place we designed just for all the outdoor wood boiler controls, our complete adjustable system, furnace, water heater and our electrical box.
