We are in June and it’s haying season and beating the rains is the game we are playing right now.
It’s always tuff to get the hay down and then get it dry enough to bale it, but this year has been a real challenge when it’s raining every few days. And not to mention the pop up storms that are not even in the forecast.
Baling late yesterday afternoon got rained out once again. So today is another day of sunshine and hot weather, with more rains expected later today…this evening. So today is a huge push to try and get this hay all rolled up into nice bales before the rains and flooding are expected to arrive.
