Below you will see exactly how we are sawing walnut logs into lumber with our TimberKing 2220 fully hydraulic sawmill. This sawmill/bandmill is designed to cut up to 39” across logs, and up to 25’ in length. I’ve added many updates to this mill, and will share those updates later on.
This TimberKing 2220 has an advanced setworks computer that allows exact cuts, and does it with push button accuracy. Basically you can set it up, and just hit a single button to auto down for the next cut that you have programmed into it.

I chose this fully hydraulic mill for many reasons, but the most important reason was, I wanted to reduce my manual workload, and by having the advanced setworks computer, along with full hydraulics, this was no doubt a huge game changer for my needs. And if course, we also needed a mill large enough to handle some of the very large oak and walnut logs we have here at the farm. Turning these mammoth logs into usable lumber, and into large beams for our wedding venue building projects.

More to come soon, so keep checking back to this website for more post, pictures and videos of sawmill in action, trainings and other information that you won’t see anywhere else.
Always do your best,
Mike Pilcher
