Earlier this week I was setting up this TimberKing 1620 Sawmill and cutting large pine logs. JD was sawing like a pro in no time. However, he does have a tree business, and isn’t new to sawmills.
This was with a friend in Wisconsin on a brisk early morning. In comparison to what I normally cut, these pines were a breeze. I normally am cutting larger walnuts and oaks, which are much harder, and slower going.
I am adding some pictures below, as well as a short video of JD running this TimberKing 1620 sawmill. This one has the Vanguard 29HP gas engine.

With a much lower price point than most of the other TimberKing mills, this 1620 has hydraulic log turner, hydraulic to run the carriage forward and reverse, carriage up and down, as well as hydraulic log dog in and out. The log stops are manual, and it also has a manual front to board jack. While this mill is not fully hydraulic, it still has more hydraulics than almost all of its competitors.
Always do your best,
