Below is a custom built TimberKing Automated Blade Lube/Water System that I custom built and use on my own TimberKing 2220 sawmill.

This automated watering system allows you to never have to walk back and forth to turn on the water dripper and shut it off. It also cuts down on the use of water or liquids you use for your blade watering. The system below is designed for any TimberKing 1620, 2020, 2220 and 2520 sawmill. I can also built for the TimberKing 1220 and 1400 as well.
What Is The Best Blade Lube To Use?
I personally use diesel fuel a great deal of the time, but when clients do not want the smell or stains of diesel in their walnut, then I use windshield washer fluid and dawn dish soap and Pinesol in mine, and in the winter I use RV Antifreeze and a good amount of Pinesol. I’ve found that the Pinesol cleans really well. So this system saves me a good deal of money, and eliminates waste of liquids if I happen to forget to shut the valves off, which has happened to me a lot.
I will tell you that the diesel fuel will keep your saw blade and guide rollers much cleaner, and they will not rust, if you leave your mill sitting for any time in between milling sessions. You can also use the “off road” farm (red) diesel, which is much cheaper than the on road type.
Complete Systems Put Together and Ready To Install and Use!
I’m offering these systems, completely set up on either aluminum panel like mine, or steel panel painted black to match the frame. These are direct bolt on, with no drilling or modifications required. The only thing you have to do is run a hot wire from solenoid to the blade clutch, which I include instructions and step by step video for.

All of these photos above are of my TimberKing 2220 sawmill. I’ve tested and tested and modified, until I’ve finally got it all working perfectly. Not only has it totally eliminated me having to walk back and forth to turn on and off the blade lube tank, but I have no more waste. This system has cut my blade lube usage by well over 50%. And the use of the blade wipe keeps my blade polished clean, which has also made my blades last another 2-3 hours more, providing I don’t hit nails or other metals.
What Does The Completed System Come With?
If you want the complete system, it comes with everything you need and instructions and video on how to install quickly and easily. The complete system will come with the Lube panel, w/top cover, wiper block w/bolt, all new water hose, heat shrink connectors, scotch brite pads, water tank brass bung and stainless water tank shut off valve. No more cheap plastic crap that leaks and breaks. Everything is all put together, tight and right when you get it. Ready to bolt on and start milling!

Depending on parts availability, this usually is about 2 weeks from order before the customer receives it, unless I just happen to have one built and ready to ship.

-P.S. Below are the prices on each type of the above “LubeKing” automated system. These are all 100% turn key and ready to bolt on your machine. New hoses, hose clamps, the same panels shown above, w/solenoid, water flow valve and blade wiper, w/wiper pad. You also get a brass bung for water tank and good stainless hand valve. The stock tanks have plastic bungs and shut off valves, and they leak and break. The ones I include with all of this are not plastic and won’t leak or break.

I can also make Aluminum mounting plates, but due to aluminum prices being higher than mild steel and having to do all the additional prep work to tig weld aluminum, the price would be much higher ($100.00 higher per package) than all the above.
