Right now at Pin Oaks Farm, we have walnut live edge lumber for sale. We currently have a great deal of walnut logs we are running through our sawmill, and are selling the lumber we are not using on our projects.
Walnut is a very high end wood and it’s very pricey when you go to purchase it, if you can even find it. The one thing that separates us from most others, we are not out to take advantage of people. Instead, we are looking for ways to help people find what they need, at an affordable price!
Much of the walnut logs we are milling, are seasoned logs and have been down for years. This means the moisture content is much lower than fresh cut logs. The majority of the lumber I checked yesterday before the snow, was 10% up to 14%. And if course, we have greener walnuts that are up to 40% ranges.
Currently we have a large inventory of various lengths, widths and thicknesses. These range from 8’ up to 16’ in length, 6” up to 37” in width, 1” up to 8” in thickness.

As of right now, we have a good amount of live edge lumber, live edge slabs and live edge smaller chunks for decorating table tops, etc.
We’ve been starting to cut and dry walnut lumber for finishing trim work and shelving in our home, and for other woodworking projects we have planned.
