Working on the John Deere 7000 4 row planter and planting the last sweet corn today – (test plots)…to see how this planter is set and making sure it’s dialed in for next years planting.
This year (2026) we will have 3 different plantings of “pick your own” sweet corn. The earlier one was 2nd week of April, then the last week of April, and the last was today. With all of the rain we’ve had, today was much later than what I’d planned, but it’s weather related, so it’s out of my control. So yes, sweet corn planted, even with rain delays.
Don’t forget, we have the best sweet corn around…and you can bring your family and friends and pick your own. The sweet corn is planted!
