I just wanted to share the updates and much needed changes to TimberKing 1400 sawmill I’ve just made for a friend.
The video below shares these changes in detail, and below the video will also show where I welded to water/lube tank bracket.
These changes I’ve made to this TimberKing 1400 mill are simple, and very necessary for the proper gravity feed of the water/lube to the bandsaw blade. Ideally, the battery and battery tray needs moved to the other side of sawmill, just like the other TimberKing mills are, but this is fine the way I’ve done this one shown here.
The picture below shows where I welded the tank tray, and when I cut off the welded tank from its original position, I ground welds down, sanded, prepped and blended black paint back into existing paint, to hide where the tray was originally.

The updated and automated water/lube system, along with the blade wiper ensures proper blade lube, cleaning and efficiency.
There will be an overwhelming difference between this automated LubeKing system and the standard plastic drip that the TimberKing sawmills come with.

On my personal TimberKing sawmill, I’m using about 80% less blade lube than I was prior to building my automated LubeKing system w/wiper. Less waste, equals more profits for you!

Always do your best,
