So after delivering this unit, I found out real quick that Monte’s 2020 sawmill is fully hydraulic and Illinois hardwoods ready.
This 2020 portable sawmill was set up in under an hour, leveled and dialed in. I had already installed one of my custom built LubeKing systems on this mill before taking it to my friend Monte. I added windshield washer fluid and a good amount of pinesol to the blade lube tank, and with the help of the blade wiper block stuffed with orange scotch brite, it worked great for keeping the saw blade and guide rollers Squeaky clean.
This log shown on the mill and in the video was a nice, seasoned ash log. This log was hard and very solid. We were milling these boards to 1-1/4” thicknesses.
This TimberKing 2020 is a fully hydraulic portable sawmill that can handle any job, big or small. With a cut throat of up to 38” and a cut length up to 21’. The 2020 is one of the crowds favorite and one of the top TimberKing sellers.
