After all the heavy overnight rains I had to take the time for trimming low hanging branches down our long driveway. These branches were already touching the roof of my beautiful black Ram truck, and I can’t have that…lol.

These low hangers were really hanging low after all the overnight rains we had, which would have also been getting into my loaded trailers and sawmills. These jobs aren’t always the ones I want to do, but much needed. And, after it’s all done, you stand back and take a look down the lane and say wow…it looks soooo good! Our driveway doesn’t seem as long, until you start trimming branches the entire 1/2 mile of it.

Seems as though some of the jobs I dislike and put off are often the most rewarding. Don’t forget to check us out on Facebook. Mum season is getting closer by the week and our Mums are looking good, as usual. We will post on our Facebook page when the mums are ready and when we plan to open our farm to the public.

With all of these branches and other ends I’ve cut from logs, it will make for a very nice, hot bonfire.
Always do your best,
-Mike Pilcher
