TimberKing was Founded in 1929 under the name “Belsaw,” TimberKing has been manufacturing quality sawmills, Woodmaster planers and other products for nearly a century. The strength and durability of their American and hand made quality sawmills are unmatched in the United States.

TimberKing is one of the largest portable sawmill manufacturers in the United States and offers many different models and sizes of sawmills to serve many different needs. Here is the lineup: The 1220, which is for the more budget minded people, and call also be purchased with a trailer package, to make it portable. This sawmill is all manual, but is one of the favorites, not just for the smaller budget, but also for simplicity. Next is the 1400 which is hydraulic driven forwards and reverse, but also hydraulic head up and down. This sawmill comes with a trailer so it is fully portable. Number 3 on the list is the 1620 which is close to fully hydraulic, with the exception of log stops and manual up and down log dog/clamp. This comes as a portable unit with basic Setworks computer.

Now we move on to the fully hydraulic sawmills, starting with the 2020. This mill comes standard with advanced Setworks computer and it 100% hydraulic, which makes this one of the top sellers in the TimberKing lineup. Following the 2020 is the 2220, which also comes standard with advanced Setworks computer and trailer just like the 2020. The big difference between these two machines is the cut length. The 2020 cuts up to 21’ in length and up to 38” logs and you can get the 24.9hp Kubota diesel engine or the 37efi gas powered engine. However, the 2220 comes standard with the Kubota 49hp turbo diesel engine and can cut up to 25’ in length and up to 38” diameter logs. You think you may need more? The 2520 is the same as the 2220 with the exception of engines and a few other small details. This beast comes standard with a Kubota 65hp turbo diesel engine, 6 log stops, where the 2220 only has 4, it has 2 log dogs/spikes and 2 log bi-directional log turners, where the 2220 only has 1 of each. Both the 2220 and 2520 have double 6000# axles with 10ply tires and brakes on both axles.

These fully hydraulic mills can also be customized with removable tongues/hitches and custom built LubeKing systems built by MPE LLC. This custom built system allows for automated blade lube right from the work station, without having to walk back and forth and do it manually, like all TimberKing models come standard with. Need total automation for high production and more efficient operations? Allow MPE LLC to set you up with their totally automated systems.

One last TimberKing sawmill to mention is the 6000, which can handle up to a 60” log diameter and more frame sections can be added for even more lengths than the standard 19’. This mill can be purchased with the powerful 37hp efi gas engine, or the Kubota 24.9hp diesel engine. Although the Kubota diesel engine is more expensive, the efficiency and low engine torque is unmatched. The diesel reliability is highly sought after, not to mention its Kubota which is the industry gem. This 6000 sawmill can also be purchased with the setworks computer, which makes your milling quicker and much more accurate.

Might I mention, the automated blade lube systems (LubeKing) from MPE LLC, can be custom built for any of the TimberKing sawmills, which currently come with free shipping, as well as installation instructions.
No matter which model you buy, though, TimberKing sawmills come with a 3-year warranty and a 30-days-no-questions-asked return policy — so there’s no risk in trying out one of these powerful machines before fully committing to the purchase!
