Today was the second round of mowing hay at Pin Oaks Farm. We finally have a break in the weather and no rain in the forecast until later next week. So hopefully, that is an accurate forecast.

This round of hay looks pretty good, so it should produce a bunch of bales. These cows go through a good amount of hay through the winter months. Our fields have a good amount of clovers in them, as well as brome grass.

Once I start baling this hay, I will do another post and share the bales and how many these fields produced.
Don’t forget to follow us on Facebook, and keep up for opening dates for Mums.
Always do your best,
-Mike Pilcher
